This is Life
“They were pleasant spring days, in which the winter of man’s discontent was thawing as well as the earth, and the life that had lain torpid began to stretch itself.”
~ Henry David Thoreau
I am life,
Blessed with life.
In this season, we stretch ourselves from torpidity to vigor.
From losing the motion and power of feeling,
To the breath of Fresh Air that only Spring can bring.
We are reminded, once again, of the essence of Life itself.
Remember to be patient, for you have been shown patience by others.
Remember to listen, for you know the feeling of being ignored.
Remember to empathize, for everyone has their own story.
Remember to be kind, for the world is full of hate.
Remember to fight with confidence and love, for many need protection and advocacy.
Remember to be humble, for one does not progress far when consumed with pride.
Remember to apologize, for no one is perfect.
Remember to forgive, for no one needs to carry the burden of bitterness.
Remember to love unconditionally, for this is the essence of life itself.
Remember to have joy, for you have been abundantly blessed.
This is Life.
