Exhausted, But Full

“I’m exhausted, but my heart is full.” ~Unknown

You have arrived at Friday! During these first weeks of school, your days can feel so exhausting. You have been investing every ounce of energy into establishing a classroom community, implementing strong boundaries, preparing lessons, and building relationships. The amount of details you are navigating is innumerable. At the end of the week, you may already feel ready for another summer vacation!

But you are here, doing what you love: strengthening our children and young adults. You are here for every single student that walks into your space of learning. I believe every one of those students are there for a reason. And they have you as a teacher for a reason. In the midst of exhausting moments, is your heart full? Perhaps it’s beginning to fill.

Let’s end the week with this question:

What were some of your favorite moments from this week?
