Top 10 Memories

“We do not remember days, we remember moments.” ~Cesare Pavese

Our days are so busy. We run from detail to detail, trying to catch a moment to breathe. The end of the year is fast approaching and we are most likely adding items on the to-do list faster than we can check them off. We may find ourselves exhausted at the end of the day, not even remembering what happened during our work hours. We just know we made it.

We may not remember our days, but we can reflect on the moments we have shared with our students. This week, I invite you to create a Top 10 Memories List. Perhaps you could keep it in a notebook on your desk at school or in a journal at home. Spend time this week reflecting on your favorite or most impactful moments from this school year. The ideas may come quickly, or it may take some time to sift through the seasons of this year. When memories do come to mind, write them down on your list. Let’s journey toward the end of the year by focusing on the meaningful times.
