Stories

“The universe is made of stories, not of atoms.”  ~ Muriel Rukeyser

February is a busy month! In many schools, “I Love To Read” Month is celebrated in February. In America, we also celebrate Black History Month, World Kindness Day, Valentine’s Day, and several other focuses during this time. With all this in consideration, I chose “Stories”as our theme for February. In the coming weeks, I will highlight past and present stories of people who are making a difference in our communities and world. I’d love to hear your thoughts as well! If you have an impactful story you’d like to share, email me at: christina.meline@teammeline.com and I may include it as a reflection this month!

Looking Ahead

  • Northwest Christian Writers Renewal Conference - April 26-27, 2024: I am so excited to be leading a workshop just outside of Seattle, Washington in April! My workshop topic is: From Inspiration to Impact: Crafting Devotionals with Purpose. You can read more about the conference and other workshops offered HERE

Get Involved!

  • Teacher Tip Tuesday: Are you a teacher? Do you know a teacher who has an incredible piece of wisdom for the classroom? I’d love to hear your tips and tricks and include your idea in an upcoming Teacher Tip Tuesday reflection!

  • Empower Our Future Teachers: It’s hard to believe that many colleges and universities are just a few months away from graduation. Many teachers are finishing their student-teaching experiences and getting ready to start their professional careers! I am building connections with universities around the country to dialogue about “Called to the Classroom: Daily Reflections for Educators” as a resource for their future teachers. If you are connected with faculty and schools near you, let them know this resource is available and pass along my contact information. I’m offering discounted rates to make it easier for our new teachers to have this book in their hands!
