Recommendations

I love hearing book recommendations from people! It feels like someone is sharing a part of themself with me. There is a theme, story, or essence that resonated with them to such an extent, they can’t help but want to share that same experience with others.

Because we are focusing on the theme of hope, I picked out several books to share with you which have inspired hope, healing, and discovery in my life.

  • “All Along You Were Blooming” by Morgan Harper Nichols: A collection of inspirational and thoughtful poems.

  • “Dare to Lead” by Brené Brown: An empowering guide to leadership.

  • “The Book of Forgiving” by Desmond Tutu & Mpho Tutu: A book that walked me through healing into wholeness.

  • “Fully Alive” by Susie Larson: An honest conversation about the areas we hold ourselves back from the fullness that life offers.

  • “Growing Boldly” by Emily Ley: An invigorating way to brainstorm, identify, plan, and execute your dreams and goals.

  • “Real Talk for Real Teachers” by Rafe Esquith: One of the best books about teaching I have ever read!

  • “Rising Strong” by Brené Brown: An invitation to take a look at the messy things in life, learn about ourselves, and get back up again.

  • “To Bless the Space Between Us” by John O’Donohue: A beautiful compilation of blessings for the many seasons in our lives.

Let me know if any of these books are on your list too! I invite you to also comment below with any book recommendations you have as we journey in hope together.
