A clean slate.

For my students and for me.

I may explore a new lesson technique.

A student may take a risk, raise a hand, ask a question.

Like seeds starting to sprout, 

New beginnings need space, time, and nourishment.

Have I given each student a clean slate?

Am I inviting risk-taking, curiosity, failure, and learning?

Do I extend grace to myself when navigating balance?

Is my heart open to new beginnings for this school year?
