I Am Favored

“The Lord bless you, and keep you; The Lord make His face shine on you, and be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance on you, and give you peace.” ~ Numbers 6:24-26 (NASB)

My Friend,

Teacher, advocate, and child of God. Thank you for journeying with me through this school year. Thank you for caring so deeply about our young people. How I wish I could be sitting next to you today as you process the end of this year, balancing excitement, sadness, joy, and weariness. How I would love to hear your stories and learn from your lessons. What amazing testimonies of God’s faithfulness we could share!

In a special way, I have felt as though I have been with you during our reflections, the Holy Spirit connecting us by God’s design. We are not alone on this voyage. We are surrounded by others who are called to the classroom, empowered by the matchless energy of Christ to create an impact in our world. As we look closely, we will find more disciples who are courageous and compassionate as they run the race. In celebration, we will join them, encouraging and nourishing one another as we take one step in front of the other.

Our Heavenly Teacher is cultivating a community where all voices are welcome and uplifted, where we feel inspired to push ourselves to new heights for His glory, all the while living graciously toward ourselves and others. He holds out His hand and invites us to step into the next adventure with Him. I pray our paths will cross in this life or the next. You are an extraordinary human being! May God bless you richly.

With love, Christina

May the Lord Bless You and Keep You:

Today, may you feel blessed beyond measure as you entrust your students into God’s care.

May you feel the warmth of God’s radiant face shining on you.

As Jesus lifts up His countenance upon you, may you rest, gazing in His loving eyes.

And may the Holy Spirit fill you with grace and peace for the next steps in your journey.
