I Am Celebrated
“And so we celebrated because the Lord had indeed worked miracles for us. We cried on the way to plant our seeds, but we will celebrate and shout as we bring in the crops.” ~ Psalm 126: 3, 6 (CEV)
We end our journey together in celebration. If we don’t feel in a celebratory mood right now, that’s okay. We will take thirty days to create space and time to reflect on and process this theme. Through the challenges, breakthroughs, regrets, and determination, we are celebrated.
God, the Author of your calling, celebrates you. Take a deep breath and allow that to sink in.
Every time you take a moment to help another person feel seen, known, and valued, you are celebrated. This displays empathy.
When you choose to step away from the classroom to show love to yourself or your loved ones, you are celebrated. This requires courage.
On the days you try something new or take risks because you know it is best for your students, you are celebrated. This demonstrates vulnerability.
And when you cry yourself to sleep or hit the punching bag a little harder, you are celebrated because, in these bitter moments, you allow yourself to feel and be you.
You have a Heavenly representation rooting for you, celebrating with you and for you. Even on the most disheartening days, Jesus empathizes with your journey. He is not looking at you in judgment or criticism. Rather, He celebrates the areas in which your heart is yearning to grow and the ways you continue to show love in all you do.
May the Lord Bless You and Keep You:
May you celebrate in advance for the outcomes yet to be seen.
As you travel on this journey, may your mind be opened to how much you are celebrated.
You are one of a kind, created intentionally and uniquely.
Today, may you take a quiet moment to reflect on the miracles God has worked in and through you.
