Friday Freebie! Top 20 List
Last Tuesday, our Teacher Tip Tuesday was to write a list of your top twenty memories from this year by the end of the school year. This is a wonderful activity for your students to do too! Intentional closure is so important for students at any age. This exercise will invite students to think about their favorite or most meaningful memories from this year and collaborate with their classmates to recall experiences.

Have your students independently try to think of and write down at least 5 of their favorite moments from the 2023-2024 school year.
When they are done, have students mingle and collaborate with each other to think of the remaining 15 memories. You could have them switch to another person for each number on the list, have them work in groups at tables, or have them work with a partner.
There are so many ways to do this activity with your class, so I encourage you to think of what fits the style of your community. Have fun!
