Fresh Starts

It felt bittersweet to say goodbye to 2023. There was so much to celebrate! Here at Team Meline, we published an empowering resource for teachers, “Called to the Classroom: Daily Reflections for Educators,” and distributed over 800 copies of the book! I had the opportunity to connect with many educators and administrators from all over the country. I am so excited that this is just the beginning of the journey. Our theme in January is Fresh Starts, which is so fitting for all we have in store for the future! In the coming days and weeks, we will unpack this idea together. However, today I would like to share some updates for our daily reflections!

Our mission at Team Meline is: To cultivate community and empower educators by creating a space to listen, learn, grow, inspire, and belong. As we continue to adapt and expand, we are exploring ways we can live out this mission in a more impactful way, starting with our daily reflections. We will continue to have an excerpt from “Called to the Classroom” every Monday and I will continue to share my own writings. To add more variety and support for teachers, we will be starting Teacher Tip Tuesday where I will share ideas from my own experiences as well as other teachers. Along with this, I will also be sharing resource recommendations, other author’s writings, and a Friday Freebie every month!
