March Resource Highlights
March Resource Highlights:
Books
“Waking Up to the Goodness of God: 40 Days Toward Healing and Wholeness” by Susie Larson: I chose this devotional to explore during the Lenten season (an important spiritual season for me). I have appreciated the foundational reminders of faith woven throughout these pages in ways that are applicable to my own life.
“Girl, Stop Apologizing” by Rachel Hollis: I’m only about three chapters into this book, but I’m loving it so far! Last summer, I read another book by this author, “Girl, Wash Your Face.” I appreciate Rachel’s way to address real issues with a sense of understanding while empowering the reader to consider what they have control over in their own life. I’m excited to read the rest of it!
Websites:
Word Wall: This is for you, teachers! Whether you’re educating virtually or in-person, this is an awesome resource to keep in your back pocket. This website has quick games and practice activities to fit almost any ELA or Math standard. If I need a collaborative exit ticket activity to check a skill, I’ll often do a quick Google search of the topic we’re focusing on (example: fact vs opinion) and choose one of the activities to complete together.
In April, I’m excited to get into the spring zone! Do you have some awesome resources to share? Email me at: christina.meline@teammeline.com. I’d love to check them out! Who knows - we may even find them on my April Resource Highlights!
